Too often we chase progress in great degrees: large jumps from one iteration to another, with little attention paid to detail.
Incremental progress, though less glamorous initially, provides much better and more meaningful results in the long run.
Focusing on small, incremental progress forces us to turn up to volume and notice little things that we would commonly miss.
It’s this attention to minutiae that deepens our practice and yields fulfillment not in the form of huge results, but in the journey of understanding.
An upcoming event:
On Sunday July 16, I will be tabling with my bud GOBLIN ARCHIVES at Wyrd War’s Dungeon Market at the Hollywood Theater in Portland as a part of their DUNGEON DOUBLE FEATURE event. The market is open from 6-8pm, and movie tickets are required to attend the market - they’re showing the 1922 Dutch occult masterpiece HAXAN, featuring a live original score provided by local dungeon synth artist COLD SANCTUM and a secret satanic panic movie from the 1980s, so it’s going to be a good time, regardless of whether you want to buy my stuff or not.
Oh yeah, and I have 3 (THREE!) new TTRPG-themed zines that I will be dropping at this event with special prices AND added treasures included with bundles, along with copies of PARADOXA and its companion dice game.
